Jason Lamb
Pro Scout, Kansas City Chiefs - Missouri


Jason Lamb is from in Dallas, Texas and attended L.V. Berkner High School in Richardson, TX. He participated in basketball and track but he really excelled in football. Jason received numerous district, regional and state honors including 2004 all-district honors as both tight end (second-team) and defensive end (first-team) after helping team to 8-4 record and district and regional titles. When he graduated he was listed as the No. 66 on 2004 Dallas Morning News Area Top 100 list.

Next up for Lamb was attending and playing football for the Baylor University Bears. Lamb was a student from 2005-2009 and graduated in December 2009 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) in Human Resource Management and Services. Lamb was a standout DL/DE for the Bears and was a two-time coaches All-Big 12 honoree (honorable mention as senior and sophomore). He finished his career with 150 tackles, 9.5 sacks and three blocked kicks. Lamb was also a four-time Academic All-Big 12 honoree and eight-time member of Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll proving he was as much brain as he was brawn. 

Lamb signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Jets for the 2010 season but was waived before the season started. So, Jason decided to head back to school and enrolled the following year at the University of Houston Law Center. He attended there from 2011-2014 and he graduated with a degree in Jurisprudence.

He then rejoined the NFL, this time on the administrative side of the football. Lamb started as a Player Personnel Intern for the Green Bay Packers during the summer of 2013. From there he moved back closer to home and worked as a Pro Personnel Assistant with the Houston Texans for the 2014-2015 season. Jason is currently serving with the NFL’s Kanas City Chiefs. He started with the organization as an NFS Area Scout from 2015-2018, and since 2018 has served as a Pro/College Scout for the Chiefs.
