Kris Griffin, NFL Player - Linebacker (Retired) Kansas City Chiefs, Cleveland Browns - Texas
Griffin attended Rochester Area High School where he played both
safety and wide receiver. He was a key member of the team's undefeated
15-0 PIAA Class A State Championship team in 1998.
After graduating from Rochester, Kris went on to star at one of the
NAIA's football powerhouses of that day, the Geneva College Golden
Tornadoes. Over two seasons, he racked up impressive numbers,
including 109 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, 7 sacks, and 8
interceptions. Kris's numbers earned him Don Hansen's Football Gazette
All-American honors.
Kris transferred to Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he
continued playing football and built a reputation as a speedy and
punishing tackler. At IUP, Griffin added 152 tackles, 38 tackles for
loss, 12 sacks, and 11 interceptions. While at IUP he majored in
sports administration.
In 2006, Griffin was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted
rookie free agent. During his two seasons with the Chiefs he was a
role player and a fan favorite who led the Chiefs in special teams
tackles. He spent the off season in 2006 in the NFL Europe
League. He played for the Hamburg Sea Devils where he played in ten
games, starting in nine of them. He recorded 41 sacks for the Sea
Devils that season. When he returned to training camp for the Chiefs
he established himself within the special teams. He played in all 16
games and made 22 special teams tackles.
Kris then signed with the Cleveland Browns, where he was named special
teams captain. Kris spent two seasons in Cleveland before wrapping up
the NFL portion of his professional career with the Jacksonville
Jaguars. Kris then signed with the United Football League's Las Vegas
Locomotives.
Kris's college and pro careers were highly remarkable considering that
he played only that one season of high school football at Rochester.

HiS Print Staff, Mission 24
Pastor - Texas
Our adventure into full time ministry started with a call from the
Lord to be part of a church planting team in Split, Croatia. In the
fall of 2002 we packed up their things, said good-bye to our
friends, family and the church we had been faithfully serving, in
Dallas, and headed to Split, Croatia. In 2008 moved to the Houston
area as full-time campus minister at the University of Houston. Our
extreme love for college students and our heart for the nations led
us to pioneering a church plant, Mission24, on campus.
I am involved in HiS PRINT because I have a deep passion to reach
the nations with the gospel and forever change the destiny of youth
around the world. He did it…Let’s do it!
Brandon has served as the Director of Football Operations for
HiS PRINT since 2011.
