Charlie Reeve, Assistant Coach
(Offensive Coordinator, QB)
New Caney High School, Texas

Coach Charlie Reeve is a native of Victoria, Texas. Reeve played quarterback at Pearl River (Miss.) Community College from 2000-01, leading the nation in passing and total offense, en route to earning NJCAA first-team all-America and Region XIII Player of the Year honors as a sophomore. 

Reeve spent one season at Odessa Permian High School as wide receivers coach and five years at Texas State, the first four as assistant coach and the final year as director of operations. He was also a student assistant coach at Texas State for two seasons, a graduate assistant at Rice and an assistant at Cuero High School and Bay City High School for one season each.

Reeve then spent four seasons at UTSA as tight ends coach, before becoming the special teams analyst for the University of Houston. In the summer of 2016 he joined Houston Baptist University coaching staff as an assistant coach overseeing the quarterbacks and serving as passing game coordinator. He then went to Seven Lakes High School as their Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks coach for a couple of seasons. This fall (2020) he will join his brother Travis at New Caney High School as their Offensive Coordinator. 
 
He and his wife, Courtney, have three sons – Ryder, Bear and Jase.

Men's Pastor, Woodridge Church - Texas 

Hugh has served at Woodridge since March of 2000. Prior to his service at Woodridge, he served churches in Corpus Christi and Pasadena. A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he grew up in the Houston area, and has degrees from Houston Baptist University and Southwestern Baptist Seminary. He is also active musically in the community and has three devotional books published with Judson Press.
