Travis Reeve, Head Coach 
New Caney High School, Texas

Reeve played quarterback at and graduated from Victoria High School and led the Stingarees to the 1993 state semifinals. He then went on to and graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in Biology. Travis also has his Master's Degree in Education Administration from the University of Houston - Victoria. 

Reeve began his coaching career as an assistant under his father, Mark, at Victoria High and was also an assistant at Plano West, San Antonio MacArthur, at Cuero for six seasons, and at San Antonio Churchill for two seasons before returning to Cuero as athletic director and head football coach in 2012. He is in his 21st year of coaching. 

Reeve coached the 15-1 Cuero Gobblers to the 4A Division II state championship in 2018. In his eight seasons as Cuero head coach he had an overall record of 77-29, and led the Mean Green to seven consecutive postseason appearances, four district championships, four trips to the state quarterfinals and two trips to the state semis. Reeve was also the Cuero offensive coordinator for head coach Mark Reeve, his father, from 2004-2009. He accepted a new head coaching position for the 2020-2021 season at New Caney HS.

Since I started with FCA in October of 2016, I’ve seen God transform the lives of coaches and athletes with the powerful combination of sports and the Christian faith. I currently serve as an area director in Southwest Washington. I am passionate about engaging, equipping, and empowering coaches and athletes to develop a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
