Chip Otten, Head Coach 
Coldwater High School, Ohio

A 1978 graduate of Coldwater High School, Chip Otten played quarterback under his father, Head Coach Barney Otten. He played college football at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) from 1978 to 1982. After graduating he served as a graduate assistant at BGSU as well as at Ball State and Indiana University. 

His 29 years of coaching experience include Head Coach from 1995-2000 at Middletown where he compiled a 26-34 (43%) record. He also served as an assistant at Middletown from 1987-1994 and at Valley View in 2001. He returned to Coldwater as an assistant to John Reed in 2002. He was an assistant until he took over as head coach in 2019 

2015 is Coach Otten’s 6th as the Head Coach of the Cavaliers where his record is 64-11. He has won one MAC title, 5 Regional and 3 State Titles in five State Championship game appearances. Overall Coach Otten’s records is 90-45.

Simonton Community Church, Texas

Steve has been with our church since 1996.  He began as a Youth Minister and became our Senior Pastor in 2002. His passion in ministry is to be a common sense, practical disciple-maker who helps people focus on the Word of God. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Austin College and a Master’s of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His wife is Kysa and his two grown sons are Justin and Collin.
