Scott Smith, Head Coach 
Frisco Legacy Christian Academy, Texas

Scott Smith is a graduate of Highland Park High School and Baylor University where he was a four-year letterman as quarterback and defensive back for the Baylor Bears. 

Scott Smith has a distinguished 35-year career as a successful high school and collegiate football coach serving as head coach at Highland Park, Odessa Permian, Rockwall, Duncanville, and Garland High Schools. He has won numerous coach-of-the-year awards and has led four different high school teams to 18 playoff games in 17 years as a head coach. 

He has also served as an assistant coach at Baylor University, the University of Arkansas, the University of North Texas, SMU, and Howard Payne University. 

Scott has served five years (2013-2018) as the Associate Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator at Houston Baptist University where he helped establish the football program from scratch in 2013. Since 2018 he has been the Head Coach at Frisco Legacy Christian Academy.


Devotion: Jonathan Frost, YFC
Houston, Texas

Jonathan moved to Houston in 2001 after joining the Houston Texans marketing team as the Mascot Coordinator. In that position, Jonathan was responsible for all marketing, business development, staffing, game day creative efforts, and program development for his department and was eventually promoted to Mascot Program Manager. He also performed as the team’s mascot, TORO, throughout his tenure. Jonathan left the Houston Texans after 14 years to come to Youth For Christ Houston. He now brings all of the enthusiasm he has for young people, the wonderful relationships and experiences from his past career, and his passionate love for Jesus with him to lead the team of Youth For Christ Houston.
